چکیده

Black pepper is one of the most important industrial crops with high economic value for export. This crop planted in Vietnam, Indonesia, India, and Brazil. Vietnam largest producer exporter peppercorns. widely cultivated Central Highlands southeastern areas, about 124,500 hectares, producing amount black peppercorns at 193,300 tons per year. However, cultivation this plant has faced various pathogen diseases, including root–knot nematodes (RKNs). For years, many methods have been investigated managing disease. Especially recent number studies on screening utilization beneficial microbes their active secondary metabolites effective treatment RKNs increased also recognized as an emerging research topic. In review, we discuss emphasize significant results concerning novel strategy management root-knot nematodes, well future direction. review provides complete scientific information which may be useful further investigation sustainable crops.

Reaction of Different Pepper Cultivars to Two Species of Root- Knot Nematodes (M. Javanica and M. Incognita)

Root knot nematode is one of the important plant pathogens that causes damage to many crops, including greenhouse crops. Pepper is an agricultural crop which its cultivation has increased in recent years, especially in greenhouses. Most of the adopted management methods for this nematode have not met the required efficiency. In this study, reaction of some pepper cultivars (Elmina, Tuvana, Chal...

Host Suitability of Potential Cover Crops for Root-knot Nematodes.

Several potential cover crops were evaluated for their susceptibility to Meloidogyne arenaria race 1, M. incognita race 1, and M. javanica in a series of five greenhouse experiments. No galls or egg masses were observed on roots of castor (Ricinus communis), cowpea (Vigna unguiculata cv. Iron Clay), crotalaria (Crotalaria spectabilis), or American jointvetch (Aeschynomene americana). Occasional...

Coastal Bermudagrass Rotations for Control of Root-knot Nematodes:.

The use of 1,2-dibromo-3-chloropropane (DBCP) and e thy lene d ib romide (EDB) as soil fumigants to control nematodes has been banned. Other nematicides are more expensive and often less effective than DBCP and EDB and may experience a similar fate. A renewed interest in biological control o f nematodes will surely follow. Among root-knot nematode-resistant crops that may be used in rotation wi...

Susceptibility Assessments of Tomato Genotypes to Root Knot Nematodes, Meloidogyne javanica

Root-knot nematodes, Meloidogyne spp., are one of the important plant parasitic nematodes of tomato in the world. The most suitable control method of plant parasitic nematodes is the use of resistance sources and tolerant cultivars. In the earlier studies, the results showed thatonly 2% (19 out of 537 varieties) were resistant and tolerant to the root knot nematodes. In the supplementary studie...

Potential of crops uncommon to alabama for management of root-knot and soybean cyst nematodes.

Vigna unguiculata, Cassia fasiculata, and Sesamum indicum did not support Meloidogyne arenaria, M. incognita, or Heterodera glycines race 4 in greenhouse studies with soils from peanut and soybean fields. Fagopyron eseulentum, Cyamopsis tetragonoloba, and Cucurbita pepo were hosts to the two Meloidogyne spp. but were nonhosts to H. glycines. Meloidogyne arenaria and M. incognita galled but repr...
